Commonly Asked Questions & Our Answers
How does a Home Consultation work? What can we expect? Can you give me a ballpark price range?
Ahh, so many (great) questions! This blog post was a group effort. Our consultants, office staff, marketing professionals and managers have all participated to make sure we can give you an informative post with the most popular questions we are asked regularly.
This blog post will be updated accordingly and as needed!
Why is Renewal by Andersen unable to provide quotes over the phone?
All our windows are custom made to fit your home. Pricing depends on the type, size and options of glass, hardware and finish that you choose during the sales appointment. There is not a “standard” window with Renewal by Andersen.
Why must both homeowners be present at the time of the appointment/sale?
Having both homeowners present at time of sale makes it a lot easier to choose between all these options. There is a lot of information given during a sales appointment so it is important that all parties be present if possible. If you have other questions, you can call or email us directly and we will get you an answer as quickly and efficiently as possible but this simplifies the process for our staff and your family! Our goal is to make the process easier for you.
Do I have to schedule an appointment to visit the showroom?
Absolutely not! This is a showroom with products we want you to see and visit, if possible! You can visit us during our business hours and someone will be able to answer questions or assist.
Is a Home Consultation FREE?
Absolutely. We advertise these as FREE consultations because they are free, there is no catch. You won’t be billed, you aren’t required to buy anything from us during this appointment. It is easier and better for our Design Consultants to visit your home (where you are having the windows/doors replace) in person to simplify the process and get some measurements. The measurements will result in specific window styles and pricing.
When I provide my address & personal information during my phone call (to schedule my appointment), will I receive spam mail and calls?
There is no spam when our office staff ask for your personal information. It is safe and we can assure you, this is to add your information to our system IF you were to purchase RBA products.
